A man has shocked Facebook users showing off the inside of the an extremely messy car, which is packed full of litter.

Images shared on Facebook show the car has just about enough room to allow a driver into the front seat, but no space for anything else.

Inside you can see carrier bags, empty cans and drinks cups, as well as takeaway wrappers and various other bits of rubbish.

Facebook

Sharing the photos on Facebook, a man who doesn't appear to be the car's owner wrote: "Can't even make this up.

"How do you not get fined or a citation for this crap?"

The post has picked up thousands of 'likes' as well as plenty of comments from shocked social media users with some questioning how the owner is even able to drive it.

One person wrote: "I will never feel bad about how messy my car is ever again after seeing this..."

A second person joked: "And then there's me who doesn't like to leave one bit of rubbish in the car and I get annoyed if the cup-holder area is messy."

Someone else asked: "How do you drive that?"

As well as looking bad, having so much rubbish crammed into your car like this can be dangerous.

Back in 2019, police in Hampshire went out to a motorist whose car was so full of rubbish and junk that the owner ended up involved in a crash because they couldn't grab the handbrake in time.

The unnamed motorist had parked the car, but then wasn't able to get to the handbrake quickly enough to stop it rolling backwards and hitting another vehicle.

Hampshire Police

Sharing photos of the car on Twitter, Hampshire Police said: "Driver couldn't get the hand brake on and rolled back into a parked vehicle. I wonder why?"

Thankfully, no one was injured in the incident, but presumably the owner's pride took a bit of a beating when they saw the comments life on the tweet from Hampshire Police.

With one person saying: "WOW. It's like a rubbish (excuse the pun) version of the generation game! It's got just about everything in it."

And another adding: "That is actually the most messy car I have ever seen in my life."

Yeah, mate, fair point.
