Imagine going to bed as a nurse from Georgia and waking up richer than the likes of Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk and Bill Gates?

Many would think it's too good to be true, Christopher Williamson fell out of bed before running to his desk to check what was happening.

Turns out that, unfortunately for Christopher, there had been a glitch in the system on his Coinbase account meaning that the *clears throat* $1,184,158,683,482.77 (£848 billion) wasn't actually his.

The keen crypto investor had put around $20 (£14) in a cryptocurrency called Rocket Bunny and when he saw the huge amount in his account, he immediately tried to move the value to a different wallet but it wasn't showing the same price.

He told FOX 5: "I look at it again and I'm like ... at that point I fall out of my bed literally, and I run to my desk and I'm logging into the Coinbase app and stuff and I'm talking to my friends, got him on the phone and I'm like, 'Dude, you need to help me figure out how to sell this now!'"

Imagine the feeling.

That's when he contacted Coinbase, which replied to let him know it was looking into the issue.

Taking to social media, Christopher wrote: "I'm gonna need someone to explain what the heck is going on and then write me a check. I got a mega yacht shaped like a penguin on standby.

Coinbase later replied saying: "Sorry - the penguin yacht may have to wait - our team is aware of the display error causing this wishful thinking for some ERC20s. They're working to fix - in the meantime, trading the asset will reflect its current market value."

It seems he's now at peace with the mishap as he told FOX: "You know when you look at it, it's like you know there's no way I'm ever going to get this amount of money."

Let's all just carry on being happy when we wake up from a night out and we're not overdrawn, ok?
