She fused three cakes together and wrapped fondant around the cake to give the Vape illusion.

When you turn 21 in Australia, it's a bit of a tradition to throw a massive party.

It's kind of pointless because, unlike America, that age means virtually nothing for Aussies, and yet we organise huge soirees like we've just been allowed to wrap our lips around alcohol for the first time.

People put on lavish events at venues, invite loads of people, drink the bar dry and sing 'Happy Birthday' around a bespoke cake.

As people's imaginations run wild, this last element has grown over the past few years.

But one Australian mum has ramped it up a bit for her daughter's big 21st bash and created a goddamn Vape cake. Instead of getting a proper cake maker to produce this incredible creation, Coral Harvey did this with nothing but the best material: Woolworths Mudcakes.

The mum got three cakes and shaped them into a square before chucking on a half cake at the end to create that rectangle vape illusion.

Then she fused the three layers together with white chocolate ganache, which she decided to colour purple.

After that, it was just a matter of laying down fondant to create the Vape and the left over fondant was used to create the Vape juice bottles.

"I tried to get it as close to the real one as possible," Coral wrote on Facebook.

People were blown away with the creation, with one person writing: "Hit the nail on the head! You did an awesome job and your mirror glaze is amazing."

Another said: "Marbling with the colours is dreamy, great work!"

A third added: "That pretty damn close. Well done!"

The Woolies/Coles Mudcake Hacks Facebook page is a treasure trove of awesome designs that come from the simple supermarket cake.

A mum managed to make a three tiered wedding cake from 11 Woolies Mudcakes for less than $60. To get the cake looking just right, Silvina Werner fused two cakes together in a tin and froze them.

That was the base, which she then repeated four times, using eight of the mud cakes to form the first tier.

Then it was just a process of repetition but making it smaller each time to achieve that classic wedding tiered cake.

According to Easy Weddings, the typical wedding cake can range from $500-1,000 - so the fact that Silvina managed to make it for a tenth of the cost is bloody brilliant.

Apparently the friend whom Silvina made it for was amazed with the end result and others on the Facebook page reckon it'll be the talk of the time for years to come.
