Optical Illusion Leaves People Baffled Over Mystery Fourth Person

This has given me a headache

An optical illusion is going viral after being shared on Twitter and leaving people baffled.

The picture shows the outstretched arms of four (yes, four) people who look like they're out on a hike/walk.

People weren't prepared to believe there's a fourth person.

The group seem to be pausing for a pit stop shot - which is the sort of hiking we could all get on board with from time to time.

It was taken from Reddit but later shared on Twitter with the caption: "My brain refuses to believe there are 4 people in this photo." Mine too, mine too.

It certainly left people mystified, with one writing: "I'm confused... why are there only '3' arms, yet '4' bottles?"

Yeah, that's what we're all trying to figure out, mate.

Here is the picture...

Eventually people spotted the fourth arm - it's over there on the left, apparently dressed in a camouflage print jacket, with the owner also wearing a blue glove.

One keen-eyed person wrote: "Literally the only time I've seen camo work as intended," while another agreed, writing: "This is honestly the first time I've ever seen camo print actually do its job."

The camouflage thing carried on causing havoc, with a fourth person commenting: "This is the first time I've ever seen camouflage worn effectively on the internet and my mind is blown."

Others thought that the mysterious fourth person's hand was actually part of the camera bag. If you're still struggling, we've helpfully circled the fourth person below:

Here it is.

So there you go.

Days ago, another optical illusion went viral, featuring a dog that looked like it had managed to walk through a brick wall.

A short clip was shared on Reddit by the r/opticalillusions sub-thread with the caption: "Dog appears to walk through wall for a split second."

In the footage, we see a German Shepherd hanging out with two women down the side of a house.

After jumping up and landing its paws on the wall for balance, the dog returns to the ground and snakes its body around one of the women - who looks slightly terrified by the large canine, which is almost as big as her.

As the dog winds its way around her legs, it seems to disappear into the wall as its head suddenly vanishes from sight.

Commenting on the video, which was originally posted by Redditor u/pop-xans, another user wrote: "My brain hurts every time I watch it."

Someone else said: "All it is is that he is one fluffy boi."
