Golfer Gets Attacked By Goose And The Photos Are Too Good

When I was at school someone told me, a goose is strong enough to break a man's arm. I don't know if that's true, but I've never thought it was worth the risk finding out. There's something very scary about a goose, isn't there?

One teenager who found that out first-hand was Isaac Couling, who had his lovely little golfing day out absolutely ruined when an angry goose turned on him.

Poor Isaac, 16, was taking part in a tournament with his school at Wolf Creek Golf Course in Michigan on Saturday when the goose decided to carry out its attack.

As if an angry goose on the war-path wasn't bad enough, Isaac ends up going arse-over-tit, but the goose showed no mercy and still carried on.

Blissfield High School golf coach Steve Babbitt told the Detroit News that the golfers were aware of a nest of geese nearby, but they didn't seem to be in the mood to kick off, so they kept an eye on them and didn't take too much notice.

Until one completely blindsided Isaac, he ran from it, took a tumble, and the goose had won.

Thankfully, the teen, wasn't hurt, but he did seem a bit miffed that no one came to his rescue. He told Detroit News: "Yeah, but no one came to help. All the coaches saw it from the clubhouse. You could see it from there.

"It's pretty crazy. All my friends were talking about it."

Not just them either, mate, you're all over the internet now, thanks to the ace photography skills of Devon Pitts, the mum of another golfer in the tournament.

The snaps were shared online by the Blissfield Athletics account and quickly went viral, but, importantly, Isaac adds: "I did par that hole." Well, that's the main thing, eh?

The comments are amazing as you'd imagine, with one Twitter user posting: "If only he had some sort of metal club that he could wave and protect himself with....where would something like that be found at such a moment?"

Another added: "Body slammed by a goose."
