They say a picture says a thousand words, but is seems a video says a million.
Over the weekend, a short but brilliant clip from an ice hockey game in Pittsburgh went viral.
In it, a pair of fans can be seen posing for a selfie, all smiles. But after the woman finishes taking the selfie and proceeds to look at the photo, the man's face immediately switches from a friendly smirk to a dead-eyed gaze.

As the man's beanie hat reveals, he is a Toronto Maple Leafs fan, and his team were getting spanked 6-1 by the Pittsburgh Penguins at the time of the selfie - hence he clearly wasn't too keen on posing for the happy snap.
To make matters worse, their eventual defeat marked their fifth loss in a row, so a glum time in general for Leafs fans.
It has since transpired that the pair are siblings, 17-year-old Kosta Bourikas and his 20-year-old sister Patricia Bourikas. What's more, the actual selfie that sparked a viral sensation has been shared on Instagram, so here it is in all its glory:
Fair play to Kosta, if you were to look at that photo without the benefit of the hilarious context we're all privy to, then you could easily be mistaken for thinking he was having a nice time at the game with his sis.

But as the video made abundantly clear, he definitely was not.
Speaking to Global News Canada, he said: "I bleed blue-and-white. When they're down 6-1, I'm going to be sad. I was sad the whole time. There's other Pittsburgh fans all around us making fun of us, 'Six goals, six goals,' and then we're just there.
"I'm just trying to watch the game. Obviously I'm depressed, she's like, 'Hey, how about a picture?' She puts her phone to me. I give her a fake smile. I give her what she wants, so I just smiled and then I got back to how I was really feeling."
Truly, proof people aren't as happy as they appear on Instagram has never been more stark.

Patricia said she was merely trying to 'lighten the mood' with the selfie, though she realised after the game that while she had failed on that front, she had succeeded in going viral.
She said: "My DMs on Instagram, on Facebook, on Snapchat even on Reddit - sites I haven't even been on before. My phone is exploding, it's crazy."
Also, just to make it abundantly clear to the world of social media, they are definitely NOT a couple.
Patricia said: "No, not boyfriend and girlfriend, siblings - sister, brother. Yeah, that was awkward."
