There's an awful lot of stuff we take for granted in life. Up there with the main things we take for granted are our eyes.
Think about it, we rarely stop to think about how good seeing things actually is until it's dark and we step on a plug.
Tommy Edison, a man who's been blind since birth, has posted a vlog trying to help people understand what blind people think about vision.

There's a lot of things Tommy doesn't understand such as not being able to see in the dark. It seems odd, but everything to him is dark, so from his point of view it makes perfect sense.
He also can't understand how we can draw in 3D and catch balls.
"As foreign as it is for you guys to imagine what my world is like not being able to see and being blind my whole life - that's how foreign it is for me to imagine what you guys do, and how vision works," Tommy said in the video.
