Uber Driver Offers Customers A Conversation Menu Of What They Want During The Trip

There are five options: The Stand Up, The Silent Ride, The Therapy Ride, The Creepy Ride and The Rude Ride.

We've all been there where we get into an Uber and the driver gets a bit chatty.

Sometimes that can be a wonderful thing as you get to learn about another person's worldview, their history or a funny story. Other times, you're in no mood to talk or listen and you just want to be left in peace.

But you can't just tell the driver to shut up, otherwise you'd be painted as rude and impolite.

Well, one driver has come up with a brilliant solution to this situation.

Known only as George, the Uber driver created a small menu for riders to select what they wanted during their trip.

There are five options: The Stand Up, The Silent Ride, The Therapy Ride, The Creepy Ride and The Rude Ride.

The Stand Up is where George will 'tell you about things that are funny', which could be about his prison stories and other 'poor life choices'.

It doesn't take a genius to guess what the Silent Ride is all about...

The Therapy Ride could be exactly what some people need: when you just want to vent to someone and all they reply with is 'that must be hard', 'wow that's difficult' or 'life just isn't fair is it.'

The last two options aren't as great with The Creepy Ride being where George 'doesn't say anything' and 'will just look at you from time to time in the rearview mirror', promising to be 'all creepy like'.

The Rude Ride is just where he gets to be a dickhead - which could be quite fun if you were George.

A rider posted a picture of the menu on Twitter and it notched up more than 400,000 likes in just a few short hours.

George didn't know his little stab at banter had taken the internet by storm, but after a friend told him about it, he started a Twitter account.

He's written: "I'm so happy that my menu is making so many people laugh. It is humbling and exciting to see this all over the Internet. Special thanks to @LuisLovesGoats for posting, @mccurly911 for letting me know this went viral, and @Uber for the awesome employment."

George has since started a GoFundMe to help him get an automatic car as he says the hills in Seattle are tough on a manual transmission.

What would you pick if you got into George's car?
