You know that there's always a few people who'll go out wearing barely anything at all whatever the weather - you know, like exhibitionists, or Geordies on a night out.
Well, there's one guy in the US who's gone and done it during a bitterly cold winter in Wisconsin, one of the northern-most states in the American Midwest.
Late last week the University of Wisconsin-Madison sent out this tweet of a guy braving a -8C snow storm in just a short-sleeved shirt and a pair of shorts, urging its athletics teams to bundle up warm:
People responding to the tweet suggested that this wasn't an altogether rare sight in the state of Wisconsin.

Some even said braving the cold in shorts isn't all too unusual for kids in that region of the US as a whole which is known for getting a bit nippy in the winter. You're braver people than me, Midwesterners.
UW Communications Director Meredith McGlone explained that while the university made the post in a humorous light, it still had a serious message to convey to its students: namely, don't underestimate the cold.

"We try to have a sense of humor and distinctive voice on social media, but we have an underlying message of be safe, bundle up, just like your mom would tell you," McGlone said.
Speaking of mums, if being singled out by his college wasn't embarrassing enough for the guy, it seems like he might now have been on the end of an unexpected parental phone call.
A Twitter user purporting to be the guy's mother piped in when someone said they hoped she hadn't caught wind of his exploits.
The guy's apparent parent even chastised the guy for not wearing the right clothes in the temperature:
Maybe the guy should listen to his mum and wrap up warm next time.
