A woman has gone viral on TikTok after posting a video that shows the desperate lengths some men will go to try and flirt with a girl even if she's blatantly uninterested. You can watch the man's painful attempts to chat her up below:
Mickey Serbia-Ruiz, from the US, posted the video that focused on her while she worked on a shop as a man came in and started - let's be frank - embarrassing himself as he tried to chat her up.

Serbia-Ruiz wrote on the video that she was 'just trying to do her job' when the man approached and straight away started asking some pretty personal and inappropriate questions.
First up he asks her where she goes to school, although she tells the man she has graduated from high school and is now at college.
She lies at this point and tells him she attends a college called Kent because - well, already it seems like he might be the kind of person who'd just rock up at her college uninvited.
He then asks her to help him pick out some stickers, but she insists he's 'got it' and doesn't need her help.

The man finally decides to pay for his items, but he asks her: "Do you wanna know my pin?"
Mickey politely declines.
You'd think that would be the end of it, but oh no. After taking ages to take his card out of the machine Mickey eventually tells him he's all set - to which he replies 'am I though?'
He then proceeds to ask her yet more questions, including whether she has Instagram. When she says no, he asks her if it's because she's 'too cool'.

She replied: "I don't like social media. It perpetuates some bad vibes from people."
He eventually leaves, but not before asking her if she likes to hang at the beach ("no") and telling her that she's cute.
Absolute full marks to Mickey here for not completely losing her cool.

The video has been viewed more than 8 million times and thankfully most people seem to be appalled at the man's behaviour.
One wrote: "You literally COULD NOT act more uninterested and he STILL could not take a hint!!"
Another added: "Every time I thought he would be done talking he just kept going."
A third said: "Just a heads up men this ISN'T playing hard to get it's literally being uninterested and it won't change."

The video is a stark reminder how often women have to put up with men who seem to feel entitled to get a date or at least a positive reaction to their advances.
Thankfully in this case Megan's ice cool response managed to ultimately dissuade the bloke from continuing to push it.
