A woman threatened to ruin Christmas for her entire block of flats after her TV was stolen.

Liz Anya - who was presumably raised by pasta-loving parents - took to Twitter to share her terrifying warning to the person who nicked her telly.

Liz made it abundantly clear that she would make everyone in the building pay if the TV she ordered wasn't returned in 24 hours.

The theft threatened to steal Christmas from the entire building.

The note read: "To the person who stole my TV.

"Bring it back and all will be forgiven. Otherwise, there will be no Christmas in this building.

"I will steal every single package. I will steal every mat and every trash can. I will engage in warfare until the day I move out.

"It's up to you, you broke b***h. You have 24 HOURS."

Yikes - sounds like they chose the wrong woman to take a telly from.

Liz shared the message with the caption 'So it begins', and the tweet racked up more than 140,000 likes and 21,600 retweets.

Now, you might think threatening to ruin Christmas for the entire building - 99 percent of whom surely had nothing to do with the theft - is a little OTT.

However, you cannot argue with results, and within 24 hours, Liz was proudly showcasing her returned TV - which she attributed to the power of violence.

Liz does not believe that violence is never the answer.

Posting a photo of the telly, she wrote: "Good morning. As you begin your day, remember that violence is always an option and often the answer."

What a wonderful festive message.

And in related news, an Australian mum was recently left reeling when she received a note through her door from an angry neighbour complaining about her 'noisy' children.

The note, which was signed 'your concerned neighbours', urged the parent to keep her children indoors before 9am.

The mum, who lives in Mosman in New South Wales, shared the note on Facebook where it divided opinion.

The note read: "Your neighbours have endured many months of construction noise and now we're being disturbed by your kids in the backyard early in the morning.

"We wish to request that you keep your young kids indoors until 9am.

"There have been many occasions in recent times when your kids are out in the backyard early in the morning and they have been very loud and noisy.

"They are disturbing the peace in the neighbourhood and waking people up.

"Sometimes they are out very early around 7.30am and unfortunately they have very loud voices. Your son in particular is always screaming at the top of his voice."

Commenting on the post, people were split on who was in the wrong.

One person wrote: "What a joke, construction starts at 7am where I live."

While another disagreed: "I think parents of young children forget what it's like to have a healthy and sufficient sleep cycle so they decide that everyone else should suffer with them."
