A woman in the US went viral after she was captured on CCTV dancing around a car park after securing a new job. Watch here:

Dakara Spence posted the video online on 30 September last year, writing: "So I just hired this young girl and this was her response."

In the clip, taken from CCTV footage, the successful candidate can be seen calmly walking into the car park and stopping, before looking around to see if anyone else is around.

Confirming that the coast is clear, she breaks out into a jubilant jig, before gathering her composure once again and walking off.

In the comments section, Dakara explained that she works at The Spot Sports Bar and Grill in Decatur, Georgia, and she'd just hired the enthusiastic young woman.

The video racked up millions of views, and many people commented to pass on their congratulations to the new employee - while others said her reaction indicated she'd be a good hire.

One wrote: "
Thank you for giving her an opportunity and thank you for making her happy."

Another person said: "Congratulations to her I think because of the excitement she deserves a dollar extra for pay."

A third commented: "She is about to be your BEST employee!"

Another added: "Lol.....You won't regret hiring her. She loves the job, she will work passionately."

Kayallah Jones - who goes by the name Kay Kay on social media - is the woman dancing in the video and commented on her new boss' Instagram post: "Lmaoo! I Had To Do It! I Thought Nobody Saw! I Was Wrong. Thank You Tho!"

As the footage continued to go viral, she then also shared it on her own Instagram page, writing: "YOU GUYS I MADE IT ON TIK TOK AND COMPLEX! I PROMISE YOU I THOUGHT NOBODY WAS WATCHING! LMAOOO I WAS MISTAKEN!"

Kayallah then uploaded a video of her own, explaining that she had no idea she had quickly become an internet sensation until someone called her.

Referring to her new manager as a 'blessing', she said: "What a Wednesday!"

Jones continued: "She called me this morning, she was, like 'I caught your dance yesterday... Oh my gosh, you're going viral! You went on TikTok and you were on 20 million views!'

"I was like, 'What? Nah, you lying! I gotta see for myself.'"

After re-enacting the dance, she explained she would be starting her new job the following day.

"It is lit, it is L-I-T!" she said, adding: "Good vibes only over here - no negativity!"

The video went on to become so big that the pair ended up going on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, where Dakara and Kayallah were given $15,000 (£10,800) each.

So while Kayallah may have checked the coast was clear in the car park, it's a good job the CCTV cameras caught the magic moment.
