Bloke Casually Walks And Talks With A Machete In His Head

You know when you've stubbed your toe, hit your funny bone or bit your tongue and it's really hard not to react? That searing pain rockets through your body and while it goes down eventually, there's no denying it's bloody painful.

But this bloke is here to show you how to deal with pain.

Pedro Ferreira was attacked with a machete in a Brazilian prison by a fellow inmate. Incredibly, while the massive knife looked pretty firmly lodged into his head, he managed to survive without major complications.

He was transferred from Professor Barreto Campelo high security prison on Itamaracá Island to Restoration Hospital in Recife before undergoing a five hour surgery.

But it was this transfer that left people concerned, because loading him into the boot of the vehicle ran the risk of the knife being knocked. There was also the risk of aggravating his wound if the car went over a bump.

Can you imagine surviving an attack like this, only to meet your end thanks to hitting a pothole?

Pedro has explained to police what he remembers happening, saying: "I was told to go to Antonio's cell by another inmate. When I got there, I was stabbed in the head with the knife."

Clearly the 34-year-old doesn't care about the whole 'Snitches Get Stitches' prison vibe considering he might have just outed who attacked him.

Once he arrived at hospital, doctors were unsurprisingly shocked that Ferreira was able to walk and respond to their questions while he had this huge goddamn blade in his noggin.

It seems as though Brazil has seen this type of relaxed behaviour towards knives being in people before.

Elionardo Nascimento, 22, had been casually enjoying a drink at a bar in Brasileia, north Brazil, when an unknown attacker reportedly ran up and rammed the knife between his shoulder blades.

Surgeons later said the man only survived because the knife miraculously failed to hit his major organs and missed his spinal column by centrimetres. Cripes.

Terrifyingly, Elinardo said he had no idea who was behind the attack, adding that he hadn't argued with anyone that night. You'd imagine it'd be more than an argument that'd inspire a knifing, but he seems calm enough in the clip.

By the time authorities arrived, Elionardo had been given a chair which he'd been able to walk to while waiting for the ambulance. He was taken to Rio Branco Emergency Hospital to undergo surgery to remove the knife.
