Everyone has their interests and hobbies and they're 100 percent free to explore them (as long as they're legal). But with the power of social media, people are able to see into other people's lives and see what makes them tick.
If you scroll through various A-list actors or celebrities, they could include photos of partying or their family, promoting new movies or telling people about a cause they should get involved with.
However, if you look at the Twitter account of Academy award winning actor Tom Hanks, you might be strangely surprised at what you see. His most recent update is of a lone shoe in the middle of a street or highway.

That, on its own, isn't too weird. But keep scrolling and you'll see that he has an interesting obsession with documenting singular pieces of clothing that would typically come as a pair, mainly gloves.
Beside the road. In the gravel, weeds and rocks. A workman's glove. Was it lost? Or tossed? Think about THAT! Hanx. pic.twitter.com/v9pMrw9fpF

But his interest in things lying on roads or sidewalks isn't just contained to clothing, he appears to enjoy seeing mundane, everyday things out of their natural habitat.

In some of the posts, he tries to come up with a story around the owner of the item and other times he questions why such a thing would be found where it is. In between comments of adoration and praise, his fans help out his fetish by posting their own photos of gloves, shoes, hats, or anything else they find on the street.
Who knows why he enjoys documenting the bits and pieces of discarded, lost or forgotten things. But you can't help by what wonder how they got there.
