Man Films Passenger Watching Something That Looks Suspicious On Flight

Man Films Passenger Watching Something That Looks Suspicious On Flight

It wasn't an adult film, but it sure looked like one

A man aboard an aeroplane was 'exposed' for watching something on his phone that he shouldn't have been watching, by someone sitting behind him - who was being nosy and filming for TikTok.

In fairness to the man watching the movie on his phone, it wasn't - as suggested - some sort of adult film that would be completely unsuitable for a commercial plane, or any plane or transport method, in fact.

However, from the initial pictures, you can see why the person filming behind might have gotten the wrong idea.

The video, taken just shortly into a flight, showed a phone upon which the screen showed a woman who was clearly looking pretty pleased with what was going on.

Except, the man in front wasn't watching an X-rated film, he was watching an episode of Peep Show.

You know the one, the cringe-worthy TV show starring David Mitchell and Robert Webb, written by Jesse Armstrong and Sam Bain.

As anyone who has ever seen an episode of the Channel 4 comedy show - which ran between 2003 and 2015 - will tell you, it's hardly the sexiest show in the world.

Still, that's what it looked like.

The person filming captioned their video: "Not sure what the bloke in front is watching on the screen."

They added: "When your [sic] sat on your flight and the guy in front is having more fun than you."

Maybe he was. Peep Show is a good show.

That being said, while the show is definitely not suitable for children, and is likely to generate a level of anxiety and unease that doesn't lend itself to being on a plane, it's not quite the horrific offence that it might have been, had the man actually been watching a blue film.

The show features Mitchell and Webb as a pair of hapless flatmates called Mark and Jeremy, who consistently find themselves in a number of absolutely horrendous situations.

We can't tell exactly which episode the man is watching - you'd have to be an avid fan to get that from one look - but it's obviously an intimate scene featuring one of the main protagonists, given the first person perspective.

To make matters worse, this TikTok video has since been viewed more than 100,000 times after being shared.

One person wrote: "When you try to relax on a plane and it goes very, very wrong."

A second joked: "Peep Show on a plane, the ultimate taboo."

Let it be a lesson to all of us. When everyone's every move is catalogued on TikTok, you can never be too careful when watching stuff on your phone.
