A text from a man to his (now ex) girlfriend has left everyone who has seen it incredibly confused by the bizarre plot twist that occurs right at the end of it.
Obviously, breaking up is never easy to do, and it requires a fair bit of tact, no small amount of courage, and a lot of honesty.

However, there are definitely ways and means to it. That doesn't necessarily include sending someone a lengthy text.
That's exactly what method this guy has opted for, though.
That ain't what's so strange about this though, it's the content of that text message that has people reeling.

It was shared by a TikTok user called Michelle, who announced that she was 'very confused at the moment'.
The source of her confusion becomes obvious once you delve into the content of the letter, which begins like a traditional love message, but then takes a dramatic about turn towards the end.
Seriously, it goes from nought to 60 pretty damn quick.
Here we go.

It reads: "I fell in love with you. I don't know how to explain it but I did and I just think you are an amazing person with a great personality and I just love your laugh. It's so adorable and cute.
"I love your brown eyes. In the sun they get a little lighter and they sparkle a little bit."
"You have the cutest nose. And my most favourite thing about you is your personality. I memorised your Starbucks order and your Chipotle order.

"You're 5'7 1/4. You say pickle juice when you're thinking about your best friend. And you love to annoy me but secretly I love it."
So far, so sweet.
Then, the last line is: "But I can't date you, you're not my type."
Wait, what?

That's it?
Since she shared it, Michelle's short video has been viewed more than 130,000 times and liked more than 30,000 times.
Various people have chimed in to offer their thoughts on the text, with the overwhelming response being somewhere in the 'WTF?' category.
One person said: "Nothing would've prepared me for the last line."
Another said: "There is something deeply wrong with men."
A third wrote: "And if she turned into a serial killer after this, I wouldn't even blame her."
Of course, that would be a bit of an over-reaction, but - you have to admit - it's pretty harsh.
