An Instagram model has opened up about the botched bottom surgery that left her scarred and unable to sit down for four months.

Shilpa Sethi, 25, from New Delhi, India, boasts over 1.2 million followers on her Instagram page, where she posts X-rated pictures of herself posing in sizzling lingerie.

She first heard about the 'Brazilian Butt Lift' - where fat is transferred from the waist to the buttocks to enhance size and roundness - when she was aged 20, and saved up the $10,000 (£8,000) required to have the procedure carried out in Miami, US.

She explained: "I have always admired a curvy body. And I was very flat, at first. Mom said she didn't want me to have it, but I had it anyway."

However, things didn't exactly go to plan as Shilpa explains: "I chose my doctor based on what I later discovered to be fake reviews. That first surgery was botched, and I had complications immediately after the procedure. I was short of breath, and felt a sharp pain in my leg."

Unable to contact the doctor directly, Shilpa did a little investigating and uncovered a culture of deception in the cosmetic surgery trade.

She claimed that her doctor's office staff had bribed every patient with free, pain relieving Arnica cream for a fake review.

"The only reason I'm telling my story now is because I don't want anybody else to go through what I've been through," Shilpa explained, adding: "I wish I had never picked him as my first doctor."

Shilpa is angry with those who were bought off to write false testimonies, saying: "People don't care about other people as long as they get what they want from writing their fake review."

The end result of that surgery was not only a lopsided rear end, but considerable discomfort. Shilpa went on: "It was very painful, and I wasn't able to sit on my butt for four months."

Now, following three more expensive and 'aggressively painful' corrective procedures costing a total of $60,000 (£49,000) - for which she travelled to Colombia twice and had to undergo a 'J-plasma' to reattach loose skin back onto her muscles - Shilpa is finally able put this painful experience behind her.

She also decided to treat herself to breast augmentation in the final cosmetic procedure. Not put off too much, then.

"It's paid for itself now, put it that way," says the model, who makes thousands of dollars a month from OnlyFans alone.

"Fans say I have the best butt, especially when it jiggles and makes them go crazy. And because its all my fat, it's really soft too."

Still, Shilpa passionately wants her experience to serve as a warning to others, warning: "Doctors with fake reviews are literally taking people's lives.

"The doctor who did my first surgery killed one girl last year, aged just 28. She had a fat embolism.

"People need to be real with each other on this topic - it's surgery and its big, it can take your life, or other people's lives."
