An Instagram model who was just trying to share a throwback photo with her followers ended up confused and - you'd have to imagine - pretty annoyed after the police showed up at her house because of it.
You see, Dominique Elissa lives in Sydney over in Australia, and they're currently in a state-wide lockdown alongside the rest of New South Wales.

The beach snap that Elissa shared was of somewhere roughly three hours' drive from Sydney, and some folks reported her because they assumed she'd broken the conditions of the lockdown for her Instagram page.
So, the cops showed up to her house to check that she hadn't been off travelling and breaking the rules, but were obviously told that the snap was taken at an earlier date, and she hadn't actually done anything wrong.
Under the conditions of the current lockdown, residents of Australia's most populous city are ordered to stay home, and can only leave for a small number of reasons, travelling no more than 10 kilometres from their home.
The photo that was shared was taken in a place called Jervis Bay, which is way more than 10 kilometres from Sydney, and therefore she'd have been breaking the rules quite significantly to travel there.

The 26-year-old said she was shocked to see the cops turn up on her doorstep after 'multiple' complaints were made about the photo.
In one of her TikTok videos, Dominique explained: "The weirdest thing just happened. Two police just rocked up at our house and needed to check I was here because they've gotten multiple complaints from people saying I am in Jervis Bay.
"I posted a throwback like a few days ago and I'm literally in so much shock that people went to the extent to call the police."

Yeah, it does feel like a long way to go, reporting someone to the police for an essentially harmless photo on social media.
However, she magnanimously 'thanked' those who complained against her for their 'concerns', although she might have had her tongue firmly in her cheek by that point.
Her TikTok followers haven't been so generous, with some suggesting that the complainants have 'a bit too much time on their hands' and should 'get a life'.

To be fair, the police have been encouraging citizens to report potential breaches of conditions as cases continue to rise across Australia.
Still, there's nothing in the law against posting pictures taken before the lockdown.
