A woman was left laughing in disbelief when a coat she ordered online came emblazoned with random words from a pub menu on it.

Chellce Adams-Jackson, said she cried with laughter after opening the parcel only to discover the coat was nothing like what she had paid for.

The coat she was expecting.

Described as a Fashion letter print loose woollen coat, Chellce expected to receive a grey coat with the single word 'Queen' printed down the side.

The 26-year-old from Stockport had bought the £80 ($110) jacket for her friend for Christmas but when the parcel finally arrived last weekend - it wasn't exactly a garment fit for a queen.

The radio presenter claims she purchased the coat from fashion website, Shesnova, at the end of November but instead she was sent a white coat covered in food words and meals.

The drive time host on Strawberry Radio said she didn't think her friend would feel much like royalty when looking like a sandwich board.

Chellce said: "I was in complete disbelief when I saw it, I honestly couldn't take it in. I was reading these words like cheese and beef stew and just started to cry with laughter.

"I wanted to buy my friend something a bit different - but this is not what I had in mind! I don't think she would want to walk around wearing a pub menu.

"I was waiting almost two months for this parcel to arrive and when I opened it I couldn't believe my eyes."

Chellce says she had the parcel delivered to her mum's address and was left confused when the package was covered in Chinese stamps and writing as the website she ordered from is based in America.

She said: "My mum called and said I had a package arrive from China, which I thought was odd as I hadn't ordered anything, the only thing I was waiting for was the coat but that was coming from America."

Just some of the odd food and dessert items printed over the coat include cheese, beef stew, steak and kidney pie and jam roly poly.

She added: "It just looks like a pub menu has been printed. I had bought my friend a take out meal to say sorry her present was late, but I don't even know where to begin apologising for what has actually turned up."

Still laughing she added: "I am shocked she doesn't want to keep it, it is rude to return a gift, I think she should wear it."

Chellce thinks it may be a genuine one off and laughed she may auction it off. She said: "I have told all my friends about it and posted the photos on my Facebook page and nobody has commented to say they have had a similar disaster.

"I think it could be unique - I should try and sell it as a designer, one off piece! I'm sure someone would wear it, maybe someone who loves beef stew and jam roly poly."

Shesnova has been contacted for comment.
