Woman Gets Guys' Fake Initials Drunkenly Tattooed On Her Leg In Magaluf

Some of her new holiday 'friends' had given fake names so their girlfriends at home wouldn't find out

A woman who got a spur of the moment tattoo in Magaluf featuring the initials of the gang of people she was with later discovered that some of the guys had given her fake names because they had girlfriends back at home.

Hey, we all do silly stuff when we're drunk, right?

Well, Megan Gerrard from Warrington is absolutely no different here, but - unlike most of us - she was left with a permanent reminder of her drunken frivolity when she woke up to discover she'd got the initials of 13 people tattooed on her thigh.

That's the initials of herself, her friends, and seven lads they'd become friends with on the holiday.

However, it later turned out that some of the lads she'd made friends with didn't even give their real names for fear of their girlfriends finding out.

Explaining her decision, she told LADbible: "To be honest I was completely smashed, so I was just thinking it was funny at the time.

"I think it got to the initial six [names] and I thought 'this is actually on my body forever.'

"I just instantly panicked about what my parents were going to say, I was also still seeing my ex on and off at this point so I was worrying about what he would say too."

When she got home, the plot thickened. She eventually discovered she'd been tricked, and that some of the names were false.

She continued: "One of the lads gave me his number and saved it as a completely different name.

"When I got home it came up on snapchat to add him from contacts but his username was different."

"I searched the name on Facebook and seen this lad's pictures all over the profile. It just instantly clicked in my head he had given me a fake name.

"So, I added him on snapchat and he apologised for giving me a fake name and blamed it on him being drunk and thinking it was funny."

You know what they say, it's all fun and games until someone ends up with a drunken tattoo.

To be fair, her mates - the ones with the correct names - did actually try to talk her out of it.

Megan added: "My mates are used to me being the class clown so they just laugh about it now, but at the time they were so angry and disappointed with me.

"They were standing at the door of the tattoo shop begging me not to do it, but I just moved them out of the way and got it done anyway.

"I don't regret having it done, but I wouldn't do it ever again. It's a story to tell the grandchildren though."

Luckily, this story has a happy ending.

Instead of having to live with the names etched onto her as a permanent reminder, Megan has since had the tattoo covered up with something that's a bit more artsy, but is - admittedly - doesn't have as funny a story behind it.
