This is the moment a TikToker realised that a chest of drawers she'd picked up from a charity shop actually contained her old home number as well as her mum's mobile number:

Many of us are overjoyed with our cheap charity shop finds but this woman - called Valencia on the video-sharing platform - was in shock with the discovery.

The note, which seems to have been written by a child, had the family's home phone number on from 15 years ago and Valencia had picked it up. What. Are. The. Chances?

Taking to TikTok, she explained: "The weirdest thing just happened, and I'm not making this up - I literally don't care how many people comment and say: 'Oh my God, this was staged.'

"I bought these nightstands at Goodwill today - my heart's like a little trembly. This is like really cool.

"I bought these nightstands for $12.99 each at Goodwill today, OK. And I go through the drawers and empty stuff out like normal and I find this little crumpled up paper. OK? Dirty little paper."

She went on to add: "It legit says: 'Carly's home number and mom's cell phone number.' It has my my mom's cell phone number and our home phone number from, like, 15 years ago. Like whaaaaat?

"My youngest sister's name is Carly and that's our home phone number. We have not had a home phone, probably like ten to 15 years. But what are the chances of that?

"I go thrifting and I end up with nightstands owned by one of my little sister's friend's."

You've got to admit, that's pretty weird, right?

The numbers.

Valencia's video has been watched over 330,000 times with more than 63,000 likes.

Taking to the comments, one person wrote: "The weirdest thing to me is that people don't clean their furniture out before they donate it. Hahahahaha. Super crazy! We love a coincidence!"

Another added: "Perfect example of what's yours will always come back to you."

Others started sharing their own stories of weird goings-on, with one writing: "I checked out a book when I was in high school in 2014, I opened it up & it had a bookmark with my sister's name & handwriting. She graduated [in] 2006."

Another commented: "I found a wedding band in the middle of Sydney years ago. Then my mum calls saying my Pop is distraught as he lost his wedding band. It was his."
