A woman was shocked to step outside her house and find that a bed had been impaled on the side of the building. Yep, seems like a fairly confusing situation to me, too.
Emily Beattie, 25, said she initially thought she was hallucinating when she popped out of her home in Leeds to put the bins out on Friday and saw the bed attached to the side of the house.
And, although she's still none the wiser about how it got there, she's managed to see the funny side to the whole bizarre incident.
Emily, originally from Livingston, Scotland, said: "I thought I was hallucinating when I saw it.
"I was taking the bins out and I just saw this bed on the side of my house and I thought what the hell is going on here.
"I was just laughing so much and I went into the house to tell my housemate and they were telling there was no way this was as funny as I made it out to be.
"It was just strange - I couldn't believe what I was seeing.
"For God's sake how has this happened. It just impaled itself on a light on the side of the house."
Things got even better at night, when the light it was stuck to automatically switched on, making the bed glow and giving the whole thing a very 'modern-art' vibe.
"I thought this couldn't get funnier. But it did," Emily said.
"Because at night the light automatically came on and it just illuminated the whole bed.
"It became like a beacon of sorts. It's just ridiculous."
Ridiculous? Yes. But also very popular as the bed has since become a bit of an unlikely tourist attraction in the Hyde Park area of Leeds she lives in, with Emily seeing joggers and other passersby stopping to take a quick snap before moving on.
She added: "This has really brightened my week and I've seen so many people come and take pictures.
"It's just such a bizarre thing to happen I can't explain it. Maybe my house will become a tourist attraction."
