Team GB's Adam Peaty has been a busy person over the past year. Not only has he been training hard to defend his title at the Tokyo Olympics, he and girlfriend Eirianedd Munro welcomed their first baby into the world in September.
The Olympic gold-medalist succeeded in defending his title as the 100m world record holder in Tokyo on Monday (26th July) and will be bringing home the gold for Britain. He's due to return to the pool on Thursday 29th July for the men's mixed 4x100 medley heats.
Cheering him on from home is his girlfriend Eirianedd 'Eiri' Munro and their baby boy.
Taking to her Instagram, she said: " I am so so SO PROUD of [Adam]."
"I wish I could be there to support and celebrate these monumental life moments with my boo, I just have to hope he feels all the love we're sending from the other side of the world.
"We'll be watching from the comfort of our sofa at 3am in the morning - or rather the edge of the sofa!"
Is Adam Peaty married?
No. Adam Peaty has been with long-term girlfriend Eiri since they met while studying at the University of Loughborough.
They welcomed baby George in September 2020. However, the two aren't married.
Who is Eirianedd Munro?
Eiri is a 23-year-old artist originally from Wales. You can find her on Instagram at @eirimunro. She's got nearly 16,000 followers on her Instagram, where she shares photos of their little family of three.
Eiri graduated from Loughborough University with a BA in Fine Art on 19th July, but Adam couldn't attend as he was already in Tokyo at that point for the Olympics.
Eiri captioned her graduation photo: "It's been a very long journey. Grateful for every twist and turn and bump in the road."
Adam commented: "So proud" with three heart emojis.
Eiri has a separate Instagram account for her artwork, which currently has nearly 1,500 followers. You can check out her art at @emunroart. She's also got a YouTube channel with almost 1,000 subscribers.
According to OK!, Eiri specialises in portraits, but she has revealed she's not currently taking commissions.
Who are Eiri Munro's parents?
Inevitably, as Eiri has come under the spotlight for dating a world champion swimmer, so have her parents and siblings.
There's not a lot of information out there about her parents, but it's reported that her father, Tola Munro, is a police officer at Somerset Constabulary and is also the president of the National Black Police Association.
Eiri's mother's name is Llywela Munro and she's also got two sisters, Carys and Abi, and a brother, Elliott.
