Chrissy Teigen and John Legend have been married for more than 15 years now. In that time, they've created their own little family.
Chrissy Teigen's own parents divorced in 2017 and her mother, Pepper, currently lives with her. It's clear that the millionnaire model is still close with both parents, as they regularly appear in her Instagram posts, and subsequently her children are very close with their grandparents.
Luna Legend was born in April 2016 and Miles Legend was born in May 2018, making them age five and three in 2021.
After bravely sharing their tragic loss on Instagram with photos of them saying goodbye to their little one, messages of support and sympathy were pouring in for the bereaved parents.
"We are shocked and in the kind of deep pain you only hear about, the kind of pain we've never felt before. We were never able to stop the bleeding and give our baby the fluids he needed, despite bags and bags of blood transfusions. It just wasn't enough," Chrissy wrote.
"To our Jack - I'm so sorry that the first few moments of your life were met with so many complications, that we couldn't give you the home you needed to survive. We will always love you."
In December 2020, the model posted a photo of her with a pregnancy bump postpartum and said, "I'm sad I never will be [pregnant] again." She didn't clarify why she wouldn't be pregnant again - whether it's due to medical complications after the stillbirth or whether it's a choice, we don't know.
"Even though I'm no longer pregnant, every glance in the mirror reminds me of what could have been," she said.
"And I have no idea why I still have this bump, honestly. It's frustrating. But I'm proud of where this entire journey took my body and mind in other ways.
"I love being pregnant, so so much, and I'm sad I never will be again. But I am lucky to have two amazing little ones who are transforming into big little people more and more every single day."
