Ed Sheeran is one of the biggest artists out there - and he's got a net worth to reflect it.

The 'Bad Habits' singer goes on tour for the first time in three years in May 2022, and ahead of that comes his shiny, new (and no doubt chart-topping) album, = (Equal).

Ed Sheeran comes from humble beginnings and despite his multi-million pound music career, he's still very much that down-to-earth guy you could sit and have a cold one with in the pub.

He's gone from having two pairs of socks to his name to setting a world-record for the most-attended and highest-grossing tour ever, with his 2017-2019 Divide Tour. When his first concert sold out, he got a tattoo to mark the occasion. Thankfully, he hasn't gotten inked every time that's happened, because there wouldn't be enough skin to cover. He's still got over 60 tats though.

Ed's worked with some of the biggest artists on the planet and what's more, they've felt starstruck working with him.

Camila Cabello said of her collaboration with Sheeran for the 2019 song 'South of the Border' with Cardi B: "This guy right here is one of the most meaningful artists in my life and 13-year-old me would never believe this...

"I know we're friends now so sorry for the not playing cool moment, but genuinely, this is a sick full circle, special moment for me, being on a song with an artist that's meant so f*****g much to me."

The 30-year-old is at the top of his game both professionally and in his personal life, having welcomed his first child into the world in September 2020.

What is Ed Sheeran's net worth?

You wouldn't think it; it's not like he walks around with a diamond in his forehead like Lil Uzi, but Ed Sheeran is one of the richest music artists in the world.

Ed Sheeran is said to be worth a whopping £220 million in 2021, according to his listing on the Sunday Times Rich List, which names him the wealthiest young musician in Britain.

According to the publication, Ed has been on sabbatical throughout 2020 while he got to grips with being a first-time dad and, no doubt like the rest of us, rode out the pandemic. The money kept flowing in though and his net worth is up £20 million from 2020.

Like all A-listers, Ed's got a swanky pad to house his growing family and fellow artist Example has revealed just how cool Ed Sheeran's home is.

Who is Ed Sheeran's wife?

Ed married his childhood sweetheart, Cherry Seaborn in 2019.

The two attended the same school as children and went their separate ways as young adults as Seaborn went to work on Wall Street and Ed established his music career.

In 2015, they reunited for the first time since those childhood days in Manhattan (where Cherry was working at the time). The following year, both took time out of their careers to form "a tight bond and a relationship," and they went travelling together.

They married three years later and welcomed their first baby, daughter Lyra, in September 2020.
