Lieutenant Eric Fields of Alabama's Morgan County Sheriff's Office recently had his pictures shared all over the world due to his unbelievable likeness to the Hollywood star.
Johnson cuts a truly impressive figure, as anyone with working eyeballs and access to a screen can attest, and Fields fits just that bill, too.
The TikTok video has since garnered over 1m views and has, essentially, made Fields an internet star - with Johnson sensationally having his say on the matter earlier this week.
Incredibly, Johnson took to social media and seemed pretty impressed by Fields, tweeting: "Oh s***! Wow. Guy on the left is way cooler.
The chiselled 49-year-old then even suggested that the pair get together for a drink or two. My word, don't you just love the internet sometimes?
Oh shit! Wow.
Guy on the left is way cooler.
Stay safe brother and thank you for your service. One day we'll drink @Teremana and I need to hear all your "Rock stories" because I KNOW you got 'em :joy::smiling_imp::punch: #ericfields https://t.co/G38tOr68cW

While the world waits for a selfie of the pair drinking tequila that will, no doubt, break the internet, we take a look at what else we know about Dwayne's lookalike.
Eric Fields is a 37-year-old patrol lieutenant at Decatur, Alabama's Morgan County Sheriff's Office.
His Twitter profile has revealed that the cop has 17 years of experience in the service and, by the looks of him, is no man you want to get on the wrong side of.
Fields has gained nearly 19,000 followers on Instagram in just four days since his photo went viral.
His Instagram also gives us a sneak peek into the officer's life and from a tweet he made back in 2020, it seems that he is a devoted father-of-two.
While Dwayne Johnson is reportedly around 6ft 4in and around 260 lbs, Eric Fields is allegedly 6ft 2in and 230 lbs.
Fields' shaved head, similar skin tone and close muscular build contribute to the likeness he shares with the former WWE superstar.
Regarding his views on his resemblance to Johnson, Fields says: "I really couldn't be anybody but me.
"I'm just glad I could be part of someone's happiness and laughter."
