Kylian Mbappe will once again grace the front cover of FIFA as the latest instalment in the franchise gets primed for its eagerly anticipated release later this year.

The news of Mbappe's inclusion comes as other young stars such as Jude Bellingham, Erling Haaland and Phil Foden were suggested by fans, but the French wonderkid has bagged it again.

Mbappe, who is widely regarded as one of the best strikers in the world, is already a World Cup winner with France so it comes as no surprise that EA have chosen him again, especially given his stellar stature.

Three different editions of the game are available for pre-order and Mbappe will be on the cover of them all.

According to EA's Twitter, they are set to showcase a "game-changing" reveal on July 11.

Meanwhile, with the game now just months away from its release, all eyes have turned to new Icons that are set to be included later this year - with some leaks pointing at the likes of England's all-time record goalscorer Wayne Rooney.

Fans of the FIFA franchise could expect to see more on the upcoming title at EA Play Live, which will kick off on 22nd July at 6pm BST.

According to reports, FIFA 22 is expected to launch in either September or early October and will likely come to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch and Google Stadia.
