Kanye West is keeping fans in the dark about the release of his new album, Donda. After being delayed a number of times, could today finally be the day?
The American rapper and fashion designer has held two listening parties at the Mercedes-Benz stadium in Atlanta for his 10th studio album, so a lucky few thousand have had a taste of what's to come.
Kanye's soon-to-be ex-wife, Kim Kardashian-West, was reportedly at the listening party supporting her husband.

Fans were left in awe of Kanye's final showpiece, where he levitated out of the stadium at the end of the listening party. Some fans have joked on Twitter that somebody forgot to cut Kanye down after the concert, and that's why the album has been delayed again.
As for the rest of the Gold Digger singer's fan base, they're still anxiously awaiting the album's release.
Donda release date
The last we heard, Donda was due to drop on 23rd July, but it never manifested.

It's thought the album will now be released on Friday 6th August. But according to Apple iTunes, which has Donda available as a pre-order, the album is now expected to be released on 9th August.
Why is Donda delayed?
According to Rolling Stone, which was present at the listening party in Atlanta on Thursday (29th July), West was due to release the album the following day, but has since been confirmed to be camping out at the stadium to finish the album.
"A representative for Mercedes Benz Stadium confirmed that West was indeed staying at the arena until he finished the album," the publication said.

Donda album meaning
Donda is named after Kanye Wests' mother, Donda West, who died in 2007 aged 58. West grew up in Chicago, Illinois with his single mother, who was a Professor of English at Clark Atlanta University.
Donda features a number of impressive rappers and collaborators, including Lil Baby, Playboi Carti, Baby Keem, Don Toliver, Pusha T, Jay-Z, Travis Scott, Roddy Ricch, Lil Durk, and more.
"The album includes several references to Kanye's impending divorce from Kim Kardashian, with whom he's been married for the past 7 years and has 4 children," said Rolling Stone.
"On one song, reportedly titled 'Welcome to My Life,' Kanye raps: 'Tell the assassins I escaped from Calabasas.' Elsewhere on the album, Kanye can be heard emotionally singing 'I'm losing my family,' and another song features what sounds like West's daughter, North, pleading with him to stay home."

The rapper was seen breaking down on stage when singing about losing his family. But there are reports that he's got a new girlfriend, who he was spotted holidaying with in June.
