Now that a trailer has dropped for Pixar's new Lightyear movie, let's have a look at what it's all about.
Lightyear is a spin-off movie from Pixar which focuses around Buzz Lightyear, a character from the hit 90s Toy Story movies.
According to reports, Lightyear will be out in cinemas on 17th June 2022, so pencil that in your diary for now and we'll let you know as soon as it's confirmed.
Chris Evans is voicing Buzz Lightyear in the new film and he's thrilled to be playing the iconic animated character.
"Animated movies were an enormous part of my childhood. They were my escape. My adventures. My dreams," the Captain America star wrote on Twitter.
"They were my first window into the magic of storytelling and performing.
"To Pixar and Angus MacLane: 'Thank you' doesn't even come close."
As for the rest of the cast, we haven't been told yet. We'll let you know as soon as we hear anything.
The movie is directed by Angus MacLane, who co-directed Finding Dory in 2016. Writing credits go to Pete Doctor, the Chief Directive Officer at Pixar Animation Studios, who worked on Monsters Inc., Up and Inside Out to name a few.
Lightyear will act as a prequel to the main Toy Story movies.
The upcoming movie has been described as "the definitive story of the original Buzz Lightyear" that will deep dive into the story of the "young test pilot who became the Space Ranger we all know him to be today."
"The movie we're all working on is the one I've always wanted to see, and I can't wait to share it with the rest of you in June," said MacLane on Twitter. We can't wait either!
