Paris Hilton and her fiance Carter Reum announced their engagement in February 2021, after dating for just over a year and The Mirror reports that the 40-year-old socialite has been undergoing IVF treatment since January this year.
We know that Paris is actively trying to get pregnant, but shortly after rumours circulated that she was expecting, she shot them down and said "not yet."

Who is Carter Reum?
Carter Reum is a startup entrepreneur and investor from Chicago, Illinois. According to his LinkedIn profile, Carter graduated from Columbia University and Harvard Business School. He is the co-founder of holding company M13 as well as the co-founder of liquor company VEEV Spirits.

Carter is also the author of the 2018 book, Shortcut Your Startup: Speed Up Success with Unconventional Advice from the Trenches, which he wrote with his brother.
How did Carter Reum and Paris Hilton meet?
He and Paris first went public with their relationship in January 2020, when the two were spotted attending a Golden Globes after-party together, according to E! News.

An insider told the publication that they met through mutual friends; Carter is "known in Hollywood" and that he's in the "Gwyneth Paltrow circle of friends."
It's thought the two had been dating for at least a month before then, with Paris reportedly spending New Year's Eve with Carter's family, who say they "adore" her.
"I have gotten the unique opportunity to get to know the real Paris on a daily basis [during the pandemic] just the two of us during these past 15 months and I couldn't be more excited and lucky to have her as my future wife and partner," Carter told People.
"She shines with her kindness, work ethic, authenticity and her voice in making the world a better place and she will do the same as a future mother and wife," he added.
Paris was previously engaged to actor Chris Zylka.

Carter is estimated to be worth $35 million (£25.2 million), which certainly isn't anything to sniff at, but it's a fraction of his fiance's net worth of around $300 million (£216 million).
