Pretty Smart is the new US sitcom on Netflix fans are obsessed with - and now they want to know when there'll be a season two.
From the writers behind How I Met Your Mother and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Pretty Smart is a US comedy TV series which stars Hannah Montana's Emily Osment as Harvard student and aspiring novelist Chelsea.
After being dumped by her boyfriend, she's forced to move in with her sister and her carefree, not so studious roommates. But Chelsea soon realises she can learn a lot from them about being happy and her hard, sometimes judgemental exterior begins to soften.

The Netflix Original debuted on Friday 8th October 2021 and if you haven't seen it yet, you can watch the trailer below.
Season one had ten 25-30 minute episodes, so Netflix subscribers have made their way through it pretty quickly.
Who's in Pretty Smart?
If you think you've seen some of these faces before, like on some well-known Disney shows, then you're not wrong.

Emily Osment starred in Hannah Montana as Miley's best friend Lily. Speaking of which, we heard the show is making a comeback.
Alongside her, Gregg Sulkin stars as Grant, but you probably remember him as Alex Russo's werewolf boyfriend in Wizards of Waverly Place, or more recently as Dominic in A Cinderella Story: Christmas Wish.
There's also Olivia Macklin as Claire, Chelsea's sister, who was in Netflix's Dead to Me, and Cinthya Caramona as Solana, who you'll probably recognise from Netflix's Greenhouse Academy.
Michael Hsu Rosen, who plays Jayden in Pretty Smart, made his acting debut in 2017 and is known for Looking: The Movie and Taxi Brooklyn. He's also a professional dancer, which is pretty cool.
Will there be a second season? Pretty Smart season 2 release date
As the series is new to Netflix and hasn't been out for that long, it hasn't been confirmed yet if there will be another series. However, it's highly likely that there will be.

We usually expect the announcement of a renewal about a month after the previous series has aired. Depending on how well it performs, the streaming giant will give the green light. Having said that, it's not uncommon to be kept waiting longer for the announcement of a renewal, while other series are greenlit before the previous one has aired, so it really just depends on the vibe Netflix gets from a new show.
If it does announce it a month after the first season aired, you can expect a confirmation of season two in the first week of November 2021. If that's the case, we'd imagine you could see season two drop at some point in mid-2022, but don't quote us on that.
