As season five of Rick and Morty draws to a close, fans want to know when they can expect the next installment of Adult Swim's animated sci-fi sitcom.
In the eight years since its creation, Rick and Morty has had five seasons and now there's even a movie in the making.
Will there be a season 6 of Rick and Morty?
In 2018, Adult Swim confirmed just before the release of season three that the cartoon had been renewed for another 70 episodes.
Ten episodes made season four and another ten formed season five, so if each season continues to be ten episodes long, Rick and Morty looks set to have another five seasons, which would take it upto season ten.

The writers of the show have confirmed that season six and even season seven are in the pipeline, so when might we see the next chapter in Rick and Morty's crazy lives?
Rick and Morty season 6 release date
A release date is hard to pinpoint when it comes to Rick and Morty. The creators are known to have long production times and last-minute delays.
We're hoping to see season six at some point in 2022, but we'll let you know as soon as we have an update.

Season five debuted in the US on 20th June and the UK on 21st June.
One episode of the new series was released each week, so it's thought the same could happen again for season six.
Is Rick and Morty on Netflix?
The first four seasons of Rick and Morty are now available to stream on Netflix.

Season five was broadcast every Monday on E4 and can be streamed online at All4.
It's likely season six will also be broadcast by E4, but again, we'll let you know when that's confirmed.
