Sean Lock's final public video, which was filmed months before his death, has been found and it's truly inspirational.

The comedian and 8 Out Of 10 Cats star sadly died on 18th August, aged 58, after losing his battle with cancer.

Lock leaves behind his wife and three children who were with him in his final moments.

And being the comedian that he was, Sean once tickled fans with his hilarious answer for what he'd want his obituary to say?"

In December 2020, Lock released what would be his final public video before his death. The clip showed him candidly speaking to the camera and urging people to get behind a London charity's Christmas campaign.

Edible London is a charity which takes urban wasteland in London and turns it into green space where food can be grown and donated to vulnerable people. Their mission is to make food accessible to all and "redefine our relationship with food" by creating a circular economy.

You can watch the video of Sean Lock backing the charity, in what is his final public video, below.

During the video Lock said: "Recently I've found out about a group called Edible London, a north London-based community interest company with a vision to eradicate food poverty in our communities.

"And how amazing is this? Since the beginning of the first lockdown to now, thanks to hundreds and thousands of volunteers and sixty plus partners, Edible London has been able to supply the ingredients of one-million meals to those who need it most," he said.

"And all for free!

"Now, on their journey to providing the next million meals, they have set up a crowdfunder and for every 50p donated, one free meal can be created.

"To find out more, check them out," he added.

The charity posted Lock's video to their Instagram page and said:

"A million thanks and big love to the legendary comedian, Sean Lock for getting behind our crowdfunder campaign and adding some much needed humour to our days leading up to Christmas and the end of this incredibly challenging year.

"Be a team-player like Sean - help us spread the positivity and achieve our target by liking and sharing this post and inviting your favourite public figure in the comments to get behind Edible London's ONE MILLION MEAL plan!"

Channel 4 has paid a touching tribute to Sean Lock, with a montage of some of his best moments.
