Simone Biles is widely known as the greatest gymnast of all time, but what do we know about her personal life?
At just 24, Biles - winner of four gold medals and a bronze at Rio 2016 - is the most successful gymnast in the history of the sport. Talk about impressive.
However, in a sad state of affairs, Biles was forced to pull out of the women's team final at Tokyo 2020 due to 'medical reasons' on Tuesday.
Biles left the arena after scoring 13.766 on the vault in the first rotation - her lowest score on that apparatus in her Olympics career.

Despite the setback she will, no doubt, have the support of her boyfriend and NFL player Jonathan Owens.

Who is Jonathan Owens?
Like Simone Biles, Jonathan Owens is also an athlete and competes at the highest level in his sport.

Owens, who is from Missouri, played football for his high school, Christian Brothers College, and in college at Missouri State University.
Owens was recruited by the National Football League in 2018 and signed with the Arizona Cardinals.
However, he suffered from a knee injury his first year and was put on the injured reserve list until he was released from the Cardinals in August 2019.
In September 2019, Owens signed to the Houston Texans' practice squad. He was then signed a reserve and future contract with the Texans in January 2020. He was signed to the active roster in December 2020.
How did Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens meet?
For a year now, Biles has been dating boyfriend Jonathan Owens.

According to Stylecaster, Biles and Owens live together in Spring, Texas. There, Biles trains at the World Champions Center, and Owens practices in Houston.
While Simone and Jonathan made their relationship Instagram official in August 2020, their romance began months before in March.
With the Summer Games officially postponed, the Olympic gold medalist had lots of unexpected free time and told Glamour she connected with him on the celebrity dating app Raya.
"He would say I slid into his DMs. I saw him and I was like, 'Oh, he's pretty cute,' so I said hi and then I saw that he was in the Houston area, so we started chatting a little bit, and then we went to hang out a week or two later."

The Olympic gymnast and NFL player would then fall in love during quarantine as the coronavirus pandemic gripped the US.
"We ended up hanging out right before the pandemic," Jonathan told Texas Monthly.
"It was one of the few times in her life where everything was just shut off and she couldn't do anything.
"So we used it to get to know each other - really get to know each other and it created our bond and made it stronger."
