Who are Zendaya's parents?
Zendaya is not adopted. She was born Zendaya Maree Stoermer Coleman to parents Clare Stoermer and Kazembe Ajamu Coleman in Oakland, California on 1st September 1996, meaning she'll turn 25 on her birthday in 2021.
Both of her parents were teachers by profession. And fun fact - Zendaya told Teen Vogue once that if she hadn't made it in the showbiz world, she would have become a teacher too

Her father is African-American, while her mother has German and Scottish ancestry.
Zendaya is very close to her parents, as you will know if you follow her on social media. Zendaya's dad is her manager while her mum reportedly has her own jewellery line, which her movie-star daughter regularly reps on social media.

Zendaya is the youngest of six children and as far as we know, she is the only famous one. She also is not a twin or triplet or quadruplet... or anything else 'let.

Zendaya has two sisters, Katianna, Kaylee, and AnnaBella, and two brothers named Austin and Julien.
The rest of her siblings tend to keep a low profile online. Occasionally, her sibs pop up in her Instagram posts, but that's about it.
What we do know is that Zendaya is very close to her siblings and she often talks about them when discussing the role models in her life.
"As I've gotten older, I've realized my true models are my parents," She told Time in 2015. "My mom is like a hero. My dad is so strong. I look up to my big sister and realize the influence she's had on me and making me a better person. Having such a big, grounded family, I realized as you get older how important that is."
