Australia, the land of snakes, sunshine and surfing. There are so many snakes in the country (probably) that they are literally living in plug sockets because there's no room anywhere else.
This homeowner in Maroochy River, Queensland, Australia noticed the python when smoke started to pour out from behind the socket.
Fortunately he noticed the animal before the house potentially went up in flames.
The people in the house called Richie Gilbert from Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers 24/7, who battled to remove the scared reptile, The Mirror reported.
"It took me around an hour to remove the snake.
"Understandably it was really scared and had curled up quite tight," Richie said.
