Pornhub Is Adapting Its Videos For Blind People

Unfortunately for those that are visually impaired, pornography is not as accessible as it is for others.

But thanks to the people that just keep on giving at Pornhub, blind people are being given a new way to experience porn.

On the site there will be a new, no-sight-required category, which shows a set of 'described videos', featuring a commentary as the clip plays.

50 of Pornhub's most popular videos will be adapted to feature the commentaries, with the original audio track being lowered in volume to accommodate the new narrative.

Corey Price, Vice President of PornHub said: "At Pornhub, it's our goal to service all of our users' needs, which begins with making content accessible to every individual. By integrating an audio-focused series, we can now ensure that we supply content specifically for those who are visually impaired."

Some examples of the clips were shown in a safe for work video (above).

One clip, from the immensely popular FakeTaxi, says: "Cut to a side shot inside the cab, and a girl gets in, black hair, lots of makeup and squeezing a nice curvy figure into a tight blue dress."

Whereas a clip of two lesbians getting down to business quips: "She's on her hands and knees, her back pleasantly arched; her butt points up and out."

The one thing users will have to put up with is the fact that the women narrating it apply a tone that sounds like they're voicing a 1980s 'how to act in the workplace' video.

The new videos are part of Pornhub Cares, a part of their site that deals with breast cancer and domestic violence awareness campaigns.
