Man In DIY Iron Man Suit Survives Storm Of Fireworks

Happy July 4th.

Happy July 4th. Not American? Me neither, but it's still good every year to remember that Will Smith battle aliens for our freedom 20 years ago today.

Alternatively, maybe you'll enjoy a man strap himself into a DIY Iron Man suit and face a barrage of fireworks instead.

Why? Because America! Well Colin Furze (the man who made the video) is actually a British inventor, but he has a thing for American superheroes. In the past he's constructed some retractable Wolverine claws.

This time, however, his sole purpose was to get within exploding distance of a fireworks display.

How did it go?

Well he uploaded the video to his own YouTube channel so it's fair to say he's not dead.

The design isn't particularly advanced but then science is rubbish anyway and no-one cares about the 'specs' of the suit and all that other boring nonsense your dad probably finds interesting. This ain't the tech channel mate - it's an idiot wrapped up in a few metal tubes, launching fireworks at himself.
