Very often songs have hidden meanings and it's only some time later that the artist behind them finally explains what the tune is all about.
Or people just put two and two together and make four.
Britney Spears' 2009 track 'If U Seek Amy' is one of the many songs in which fans reckon they've found a secret - slightly naughty - message.

Here's the song, if you need your memory jogging:
The single was a banger (obviously) and featured the lyrics: "All the boys and all the girls are begging to if you seek Amy" which some people reckon might have sexual connotations.
How? Why? Tell me more.

Well, the track makes the words sounds much more like 'Eff You See Kay' - in other words F, U, C, K. And then it sounds like the word 'me'.
Eff, You, See, Kay... me.
The sly lyrics led to the Parents Television Council (PTC) petitioning to remove the song from all radio stations between the hours of 6am and 7pm because impressionable children may listen to her take on the phrase and repeat it.

At the time of the song's release in 2009, PTC president, Tim Winter, said: "There is no misinterpreting the lyrics to this song, and it's certainly not about a girl named Amy."
Taking to twitter, one person said: "'If U Seek Amy' invented word play," while another added: "Me trying so hard to figure out what Britney meant by 'if u seek amy' as a kid and asking my sister what she meant by that and she said don’t worry."
Another song you might not have known has a hidden message in it is Eminem's 'My Name Is' which has a chorus that goes a little like this.

*Clears throat*
"Hi!
My name is
What?

My name is
Who?
My name is
Chika-chika
Slim Shady."
A TikToker explained: "I never knew he was saying I'm Eminem in reverse. It's Eminem."
Incredibly, if you play the chorus in reverse, the lyric 'My name is' sounds like 'is emanym' which actually sounds like 'It's Eminem' on loop.
