50 Cent's mansion recently sold for way below the asking price, and there are now plans to turn it into an old people's home.

According to TMZ, the 52-room estate in Farmington, Connecticut, originally went on the market in 2007 for $18.5 million (£13m) but it has now been sold for just $8 million (£5.7m).

The new buyer reportedly has plans to turn the sprawling property into a retirement community. They're just waiting on planning permission.

The 40-year-old rapper (supposedly) ran into financial trouble last year. He filed for bankruptcy in July, a move that was widely publicised online.

However, he continued to post pictures on Instagram showing everybody how rich he was.

Oh, Fiddy.

I must say I'm a huge fan of the décor.
