Viral video footage shows actor Adam Sandler playing pick-up basketball in New York State, having rocked up to the court in his trademark oversized polo shirt and baggy shorts.
The clip, which was originally posted by Robert Whitehorn, shows Sandler happily playing basketball in Long Island.

Sports journalist Anthony Puccio also posted the video on Twitter, writing about the footage in The Association newsletter.
He said: "My buddy texted me late last night and told me how he balled with famed American actor Adam Sandler on Sunday afternoon on Long Island. Sandler is known to be a huge basketball fan - and has been spotted playing pickup quite often since COVID-19 restrictions have loosened a bit.
"Let's break down the tape: Between the baggy shorts and polo shirt, the outfit is just unreal. Maybe he was at IHOP beforehand. You can tell he's confident the way he struts up the court like J-Kidd. Only problem is that he travels about 3-4 times and pins himself in the corner. He also shows no threat attacking the rim."
The footage soon went viral, with many people commenting on his relaxed attire.
One person wrote: "Adam Sandler looks like when you forgot your gym clothes in middle school but didn't want to miss out on basketball day."

Someone else said: "When you rich as hell you can play pick up basketball everyday with no worries."
Sharing their own anecdote, a third added: "He played every day when he was in our town filming GrownUps 2 and Hubie Halloween. My husband played with him a few times. He said Adam was really good! He doesn't know where he gets the energy. Played a couple of times a day."
Recently, Sandler was also seen hanging with the normal folk at an IHOP pancake house, but left quickly after being told that there was a 30-minute wait time.
Dayanna Rodas was devastated to learn later that she had missed the opportunity to properly meet the Hollywood star, not realising it was him.

The 17-year-old later posted a video of the CCTV footage from the encounter, sharing her utter disbelief at what she had done.
She wrote: "Not realising it's Adam Sandler and telling him it's a 30mins wait and him ofc leaving bc he's not going to wait 30mins for IHOP."
Sandler later shared a joke with IHOP about the incident on social media.
"For the record, I only left the IHOP because the nice woman told me the all-you-can-eat deal didn't apply to the milkshakes," the actor wrote on Twitter.

To which IHOP replied: "You know what, @AdamSandler, you may be onto something here. In your honor, we'd like to declare May 10th, 2021 #MilkshakeMonday at IHOP.
"More sweet details to follow."
And to mark the special day, Sandler paid another visit to the restaurant, granting Dayanna's wish, posing for some photos with her and other members of staff.
In the caption for another video posted to her TikTok account, Dayanna wrote: "Couldn't have been more excited!!
