Not many people would be able to pull this off

Have you ever necked a glass of straight whiskey and been able to hold your own in front of a huge audience? While some people might be able say 'yes' to that question, it would be surprising if any of those were 50-year-olds.

But Halle Berry has absolutely dominated her male counterparts during a press conference to promote Kingsman: The Golden Circle. The liquor was included in the panel session as a reference to one of the movie's plot points, where a fictional bourbon brand acts as a business front for US secret agents. But everyone received shot glasses filled with the stuff, while Halle was poured a near full glass.

A reporter asked her whether Kingsman or James Bond was more British. The Oscar winner, who has also played a Bond girl in Die Another Day, didn't want to step on any toes so she passed the question onto co-star Colin Firth.

But panel moderator Jonathan Ross started yelling 'chug', which the audience began chanting, until Halle said to the crowd: "Oh, I can, you know. Would you like to see that?

Downing it like an absolute boss, the actor slammed the glass down and pretended to pass out. Ross jokingly told the audience afterwards: "Kingsman would like to remind you to drink responsibly."

Several people on social media questioned whether it was actually alcohol that was inside her glass. Following the panel, Halle added to the speculation, telling Entertainment Weekly: "I'm a little drunk right now.

"No, just kidding. I never drink and tell. Let that be a mystery to the world. Never dare a girl like me to do anything, because I just take the challenge."

She plays Agent Ginger Ale for the follow-up to the epic 2015 flick Kingsman. It is based off the comic book of the same name, portraying a secret agent organisation hiding in plain sight in the UK. Its action scenes were incredible, with a hint of knowing cheese to the script - the movie delivered on all fronts.

But the new film will look at the UK organisation collaborating with an American spy agency after theirs is destroyed. It packs an incredible cast, with Taron Egerton, Colin Firth and Mark Strong reclaiming their roles, joining Jeff Bridges, Elton John, Julianne Moore and Channing Tatum.

Director and screenplay writer Matthew Vaughn admitted writing the sequel was the 'hardest thing' he'd ever done. He told List: "Sequels are weird. The audience wants what you did before, but if you do that, they go, 'Well, this is just fucking unoriginal and boring.'"

He's added there will be a third Kingsman film.
