Bella Thorne has joined OnlyFans - a move she says will help her 'fully control her image' without any form of censorship.
Sharing the news on Instagram, Thorne posted a video of herself posing in a bikini, wearing a necklace emblazoned with the word 'SEX'.
"Excuse me, I have an announcement," she says at the beginning of the clip, which ends with a link to her OnlyFans profile.
OnlyFans commented: "Welcome to our OnlyFans family Bella. We're super excited you're here."
The 22-year-old is charging $20 (£15) a month for her OnlyFans content, with a press release for the star predicting she won't do too badly, 'with safe estimates earning Bella $1 million a month'.
Thorne, who famously leaked her own nude snaps after being threatened by a hacker, believes the move will help her control her own image more in the public eye.
She told Paper magazine: "OnlyFans is the first platform where I can fully control my image; without censorship, without judgement, and without being bullied online for being me."
In a statement, the former Disney star also said she felt OnlyFans was a 'safe place' for her to be who she is 'without judgement' or 'without censorship'.
She added: "It's FINALLY my decision to decide how I interact with my fans."
Thorne has been making waves in the adult industry recently after directing a short erotic film called Her & Him.
Starring Abella Danger and Small Hands, the film tells the story of a boyfriend who finds some stuff on his girlfriend's phone that suggests she wants to kill him.
The whole project was made as part of PornHub's new Visionary Directors Series, which aims to take some less-familiar faces to the industry in order to bring something different.
It's been described by PornHub Vice President Corey Price as 'a modernistic, sexually explicit Romeo and Juliet-like depiction of two star-crossed lovers who have an unbridled sexual longing for each other'.
As for the move from child-star to porn director, Thorne said: "What inspired me to do the movie was basically thinking about this relationship between a male and a female and this fight over dominance and how this relates to our general world, besides in a sexual scenario."
She continued: "The vision behind the story was basically creating these two dynamic characters that could kind of, again, switch off from a dominant and submissive.
"My vision originally was to make a Christmas horror movie. And instead I made a very beautiful, ethereal, neon type of vision. Sometimes you go in thinking that you want something specific and you totally change your mind."
