​Bindi Irwin Reveals She’s Walking Down The Aisle With A Koala

Steve Irwin's daughter Bindi has revealed she will be proudly walking down the aisle with a koala when she marries boyfriend Chandler Powell.

The two announced they were engaged back in July, when Bindi wrote excitedly on social media to say her beau had given her 'the most beautiful surprise' by proposing in the gardens of Australia Zoo.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, the wedding itself will also be held at the zoo next year - and it turns out animals will also play a key role in the bridal party.

The 21-year-old old appeared on Good Morning America with her husband-to-be Chandler to talk about their big day.

Chandler said: "We're so excited. It's where we met and where we got engaged so it only makes sense that we'd have it at Australia zoo.

"See, I think this wedding is going to be unique because it's going to be at the zoo and with tons of animals."

Bindi chipped in: "I'm not sure how many people have walked down the aisle with a koala, but we may be setting some new trends for weddings from here on out."

She continued: "The easiest part of wedding planning is just knowing that I get to marry this amazing guy.

"Whatever else happens it doesn't matter."

Chandler added: "How lucky am I, I get the most beautiful girl in the world.

"I'm marrying into the most wonderful family."

Bindi's younger brother, Robert, also recently announced he'd be the one to escort her down the aisle on her wedding day - in place of their late father, Steve Irwin, who was tragically killed by a stingray in 2006 while filming in Australia's Great Barrier Reef.

Bindi got engaged to long-time boyfriend Chandler Powell on her 21st birthday in July, and shared a sneak peak of her bridal dress on Twitter.

Replying to the post, 15-year-old Robert said: "Can't wait to walk you down the aisle."

Speaking to E! News, Bindi confirmed the news, saying: "It's so important to include the people that can't be there with you, so on the day, I know that Robert is absolutely gonna walk me down the aisle and I think that's what would make dad happiest."

Bindi also revealed that she is planning on having her own 'wildlife warriors' with Chandler - though they've got a big wedding to sort out first and foremost.

She said: "One day we'll have a family. One day we'll have our own little wildlife warriors, but not yet."
