The 38-year-old Hemmy bro shared some clips of his routine which has transitioned from 'heavyweight training' to more movements that focus specifically on 'agility, strength and speed'.
Taking to Instagram, he wrote: "Gearing up for @netflix Extraction sequel. Transitioning from heavyweight training to a lot more bodyweight functional movements concentrating on agility, strength and speed. Give this little work out a go and let the lungs scream for mercy!"
He then listed the exercises which include:
Just thinking about doing that four times is enough, thanks.
Filming is set to begin for the second instalment this autumn after the success of the first film which quickly became Netflix's most-watched original film.
Speaking on a 2020 panel at Brazilian comic convention CCXP, writer Joe Russo said: "The intention is to start rolling cameras on Extraction 2 sometime next fall.
Chris [Hemsworth] is a busy guy so we have to figure out his schedule, but that's the intent at the moment."
Not giving away too much, Joe - who is one half of the celebrated Russo brothers - went on: "I'm still not gonna commit because I think it's more exciting to surprise people.
"But I will say this: we are working at building out a universe of films that could potentially explore some of the other characters from the first movie and some new characters, and see more historical interaction between the characters.
"So if you're interested in David Harbour's character, you just may get to see him in a future Extraction movie."
Chris - who plays Tyler Rake in the action flick - has also teased the fact that he'd be happy to do 'another couple' of follow ups.
Making the revelation as he won a People's Choice Award for the action movie star of 2020, he said: "We wanted to make a film that was different, unique, exciting, full of action but pushed the envelope. And I think we achieved that. None of that was possible without your support.
"So I'm forever in your debt, I love you guys, you guys are the greatest...
"It was one of the most incredible experiences that I've ever had on a set and we're gonna try to make another couple more for you."
