Remember Speak Out? It's a game that involves wearing a weird plastic mouthpiece so you can't move your lips and you have to talk. A simple concept, but it's actually pretty hilarious.
It was everywhere last Christmas, remember? Facebook just became a never ending stream of your friend's mums, slightly red-faced from all that Christmas sherry, firing spit at their families as they tried to say 'pass the parcel', before busting out laughing. That was Facebook from 25 December to 2 January.
You probably thought we had wrung every last drop of entertainment that could possibly be wrung from a plastic mouthpiece and a bit of card, but you were wrong.
And so, to actor Chris Pratt on The Ellen Show. He was on the show to promote his new film Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and while there, host Ellen suggested they have a quick game of Speak Out.

Also, Chris helps to prove my above point about everybody in the world playing this game, when he confirms that it's 'one of his mum's favourites'. It was everyone's mum's favourite, Chris.
I have to say, I did laugh at this. But does he not look almost murderous as he tries to say 'where you place the parakeet?'.
Look at that face:

To be fair to the star, he is very good at this game. Well better than your mum.
He flawlessly manages to say 'Ellen DeGeneres'.
But then it all starts going wrong when he's given the phrase: "I'm gonna bump you".

Ellen looks to be in shock, as Chris realises what it sounds like he's just said and then he gets more hysterical as he tries to explain to her, but of course, she can't understand that because he's still wearing the mouthpiece.

You can watch the full clip here. And I recommend you do, because it's pretty ace.

I would definitely watch a show where it was just movie stars playing Speak Out with Ellen DeGeneres. I think someone needs to make it happen.
