It's not news to learn that make-up can completely change how someone looks - but it is still a bit of a shock to see a celebrity that we're used to seeing caked in the stuff, totally bare-faced.
Singer Christina Aguilera, 37, was snapped for the cover of Paper magazine - the same publication that made the Kim Kardashian image that 'broke the Internet' - in a make-up-free headshot and people are stunned by her natural look.
Usually recognisable by her OTT hair and make-up looks, the 'Dirrty' singer, looked like a completely different person with her freckles on show and her blonde hair hanging loose around her face.

Since sharing a photo of the cover on her Instagram page 12
hours ago, it's had over a quarter of a million likes and more than 7,000
comments with fans rushing to compliment her on the 'makeunder'.
The cover-line reads 'Transformation' and inside the photos, taken by photographer Zoey Grossman, are a mix of bare-faced, low-key and dramatic shots featuring heavy make-up in bright colours. She also posed in a see-through plastic mac and in one shot could be see licking a mirror.
The singer told the publication she enjoyed the 'theatrics' of dressing up, saying: "I'm a performer, that's who I am by nature. But I'm at the place, even musically, where it's a liberating feeling to be able to strip it all back and appreciate who you are and your raw beauty."
She then added that despite these pared-down shots, she still plans to go back to her usually glamourous style.
During the interview Christina opened up about her childhood and growing up witnessing abuse. She told the magazine: "I watched my mom have to be submissive, watch her Ps and Qs or she's going to get beat up.

"You can either be, unfortunately, so damaged by it that you take a turn for the worse, or you can feel empowered by it and make choices to never go down that route."
She added: "I hate when people say, 'Why doesn't she just leave?' There's psychological damage and mental abuse that comes with being in a situation like that. A lot of people don't have the ability to vocalise it themselves or have the know-how to get out."
