Whenever there's a high profile fight happening people always seem to keep a close eye on Conor McGregor. As if he's going to call someone out on Twitter or something silly.

That being said, the tweet he posted during the Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley fight didn't disappoint.

Sharing just one word - 'salivating' - the father-of-three got people wondering what his cryptic message was all about.

People started to think that the MMA star was taking the p***. Others thought he was being serious and began giving him their own thoughts on the fight.

But it turns out the Irishman was probably just excited for his lobster pasta.

In a follow-up tweet, he posted a video of the appetising dish.

Something tells us he knew what he was doing, the little devil.

In response to his 'salivating' tweet, one person wrote: "Jake Paul's performance tonight proved that he's the greatest boxer of all time and I don't think anyone can dispute that."

Alright mate, the guy's just hungry.

Another added: "If Conor boxes Paul lol I will never be a fan again."

And a third commented: "Too embarrassing for the MMA community you would finish him in 1 round champ."

Guys... guys... calm down.

After posting the 12 second video of his pasta dish, someone wrote: "LMFAO OMG everyone was tripping balls on his last post."

Another said: "Bro really got our necks lmaooo," while someone else added: "I thought you was talking bout Jake Paul got me fooled."

"Oh you got jokes," said another, adding: "Not worth you time champ! You promised us a glorious return and we can't wait."

Jake Paul came out of last night's fight undefeated after beating Tyron Woodley in their highly-anticipated grudge match.

The judges scored the fight 77-75, 75-77, 78-74 to the social media sensation, who was fighting in his home city of Cleveland, Ohio.

It seems that Woodley disagrees with the result as he said in a post-fight interview: "Me and Jake need to run it back. I want a rematch. I felt like I won. I hit him and the ropes held him up. I landed more power shots."

Paul, however, was more interested in Woodley getting a tattoo of him, explaining: "If you get a tattoo 'I love Jake Paul' then we will run it back.

"Get the tattoo and we will run it back. I've got a tattoo artist here."
