Jacqueline Jossa's husband Dan Osborne has begged I'm A Celeb viewers to go a little easier on the former EastEnders actor - urging them to stop making her do trials as it 'ain't nice'.

After a day at the football, Osborne sat down on the sofa to watch last night's show with his mum, sharing the experience on his Instagram Stories.

But when Saturday's episode saw Jossa nominated for yet another trial, Osborne felt the need to stick up for her, asking people watching along at home to 'give her a break'.

Osborne said he knew his missus would be 'buzzing' because she got her luxury item - a pillow and pictures of the kids - but went on to ask viewers to 'give her a break' when it comes to voting for her to do trials.

He said: "I know I said vote for Jac 'cause she ain't in there to change lightbulbs.

"I didn't mean every single trial.

"Give her a break now. Come on!"

Osbourne, who has two daughters with Jossa - Ella and Mia - continued: "But she keeps smashing 'em all. She'll worry about it, but she'll smash it. She'll keep proving everyone.

"And she's doing it with Ian Wright as well, which is good - he'll look after her - but let her do this one, and then just give her a break, please.

"She's getting upset now. It ain't nice."

Despite pleading fans to go easy on Jossa, Osborne closed the video by saying he knew she'd 'smash it' and 'get all the stars, go back and have a nice dinner'.

Before going into the jungle, Jossa said in her promotional video for the show that she's not the 'pushover' that she's often portrayed as in tabloid headlines, and wanted to give it her all to prove so.

She explained she doesn't like heights or spiders, was 'not the best swimmer' and would not be doing any bungee jumping - but adament, to prove people wrong, Jossa said: "I think people think I am a pushover or a doormat. I also think some people pity me.

"I want to show I am fine, I am up for a laugh and that I will go for it and try my best."
