David Beckham Rips Victoria's Age As She Teases Him For Playing With LEGO
| Last updated
Not many people would complain if David Beckham was sat in their home, enthralled by a bit of LEGO - but that didn't stop his wife from taking the p*** out of the former footballer.
While Victoria Beckham seems to have been left frustrated by her hubby's new hobby, he was quick to respond to her sick burn with a jibe of his own.
As she joked that he was playing with LEGO that was aimed at 11-year-old children (despite him being 44), the former footballing ace reminded his wife that she will always be older... uh-oh.
Posting the videos to her Instagram story, 45-year-old Victoria wrote: "How many hours has it been??" In the footage, David can be seen engrossed in building a Land Rover.
In a later Instagram clip, Victoria tells her 27.5 million followers: "Been for dinner, we had a break. We're about to finish the LEGO, we've dropped some pieces - Mr. Cruz is looking for it and Harper."
Then she asks: "How much longer, David?" He responds: "I reckon 20 minutes," to which Victoria says: "20 minutes. It does say on the box that it's for an 11-year-old."
Sounding rather proud of himself, David is quick to point out that he completed the building brick challenge in nine hours.
Victoria then reminds him: "But you are 44, you know that?" And David shoots back with: "Yep... and you're 45." POWWWW.
She may be irritated by the length of time her husband is spending playing with LEGO but Victoria also revealed that she has a Star Wars set for him to assemble when he's done.
She said: "I've got a surprise for David. This one is going to be a little bit more challenging. The minute that he finishes his Land Rover - that he thinks is only going to take him a day - I'm going to pull out the Star Wars LEGO.
"It was Kim Jones who actually suggested I get this for David. It's huge, I think it's going to take him until next Christmas. But he loves it."
Before the Land Rover came along, Golden Balls stayed up until the early hours of the morning building a Hogwart's School of Witchcraft and Wizardry with their eight-year-old daughter Harper.
